Hi, I'm Leon. Teacher turned designer. I bring over a decade of experience in public education to the world of design.
Denver based designer with 10+ years of experience creating engaging learning experiences for diverse users. I specialize in translating complex challenges into user-centered design solutions.
My Journey
During the COVID-19 Pandemic I redesigned virtual learning materials that improved student engagement and accessibility—sparking my passion for UX /UI and ID. Since then, I've sharpened skills in user research, prototyping (Figma, Framer, Webflow), and Agile methodologies while leading projects across cross-functional teams.
What I Bring
My classroom experience taught me to quickly understand user needs, iterate based on feedback, and design for accessibility from day one. I approach every project by asking "How can we make this work better for real people?"
Currently seeking
Instructional Design and UX roles where I can combine my educational expertise with design thinking to create meaningful user experiences.
